ESPN "Euro Cup 2016: Opening Sequence"

To kick off the ESPN coverage of the 2016 Euro Cup, Jeremy Cox and team created a rousing show open featuring meticulously sculpted CG statues frozen in heroic moments. This opening piece is the first glimpse at nearly 200 elements created by IF in partnership with ESPN's creative team for the month-long tournament. Paying homage to classical sculpture and the patina of old soccer trophies, the opening roars through the 'field' of Europe, setting up the 2016 Euro Cup package to push the limits of what a major sporting event identity can be.
